"Dear AmeriStall,
Thanks for selling us a beautiful barn! We love it!
My horses run to pick out their stalls.
They love the barn too!
Thanks again,

Whether you want to pick out
necessary items like insulation or gutters and downspouts,
or dress up your barn with swing-out feeders, wainscoting,
and decorative cupolas, we offer many affordable and stylish
options to help personalize your equestrian facility.
You can also accessorize your metal building. Whether you're
buying a Raised Center Aisle or regular Straight Gable Metal
Building and you want it to look "like a barn" or match your
house, we have a variety of options available to fit your
needs.
Our options and accessories include: |
|
Single & Double Sliding Doors (with cross-buck trim)
|

|
Our Raised Center Aisle
Horse Barns and Straight Gable Horse Barns come standard
with Double Sliding Doors at each end of the barn. Our
One Row Barns feature a Single Sliding Door at each
end of the alley. You can add either single or double
sliding doors to your metal building to allow easy access,
and increase ventilation in arenas. |
|
Walk/Entry Doors
|
 |
We offer white, steel,
commercial walk doors with a locking handle in two
sizes. For AmeriStall Horse Barns, we use 3o68 walk
doors. These are most commonly used on the front of
Tack Rooms, or other utility rooms, and can allow
access from the inside of the barn to the outside.
On AmeriSteel Metal Buildings, we use 3o7o walk doors,
and they are simply used to gain access to the inside
of the building.
|
|
Dutch Doors |
 |
These 41"x 86" doors
are an attractive and highly functional option for your
stall. The top half can open, and be secured back, to
increase ventilation. Or the entire door can be opened,
and allow your horse access to the outside. We also
offer "fake" Dutch Doors. These are 41"x 86" flat panels
that simply screw on to the outside of your building
or barn. They are less expensive than operable Dutch
Doors, but maintain the look you want. Operable Dutch
Doors are available on horse barns only and fake Dutch
Doors are available on horse barns and metal buildings.
|
|
Drop Doors
|

|
Dropping down to allow
your horse to hang his or her head into the alleyway,
or secured in place to keep your horse inside the stall,
the galvanized, grilled drop door is a functional option
for your stall front and is centered on the top half
of the stall's sliding door. This option is available
on Horse Barns only. |
|
Divider Grills
|

|
Divider grills are galvanized
vertical grills that go on the stall divider panel to
allow your horses to see each other and to increase
ventilation throughout the barn. They are available
in half the width of the divider panel, so you can choose
whether you want grills on the front or back half of
the panel, or you can purchase two to allow the full
top half of the divider panel to be grilled. This option
is available on Horse Barns only. |
|
Insulation
|
 |
3" Thick, Vinyl-Back,
Reinforced Insulation keeps your barn or metal building
warm when it needs to be warm, and cool when it needs
to be cool. And because it is reinforced with cording
throughout, it can be installed without the use of chicken
wire and does not sag or droop. The clean-looking, white
vinyl back can be washed or brushed off to keep your
barn or building tidy with minimal effort. We recommend
that you insulate the roof only in horse barns. Roof
and walls can be insulated in metal buildings.
|
|
Gutters & Downspouts
|

|
Gutters and Downspouts
are helpful for controlling the flow and drainage of
water around your horse barn or metal building. They
are available in a variety of colors to match your structure. |
|
Decorative Cupolas
|

|
Available in three sizes
(24", 30", or 36") our decorative cupolas will enhance
the appearance of your barn or metal building. They
even come with a cute horse weathervane to complete
the look! |
|
Framed Openings |
 |
We can provide framed
openings for doors and windows that you have chosen.
If you live outside our local area or want a special
window or door this is the ideal solution. If we simply
provide a framed opening, rather than a window, to those
outside our local area, it eliminates the risk of breakage
during delivery and expensive "glass-handling" fees.
Simply buy the windows at your favorite store, and provide
us with the size of the framed opening, and your barn
will arrive ready to accept the windows you've chosen.
The same goes for doors. Also, especially on metal buildings,
when you want an overhead or roll-up type door, we can
give you the framed opening, and you can pick out the
door you want locally, and have it installed by the
company that sells it…that way they will warranty their
work.

|
Widen Center Aisle on Horse Barns |
 |
Did you know our horse
barns can be modified to accept a 16' alley, making
the barn 40' wide, rather than the standard 36' wide
barn and 12' alley? It's a great option for our clients
that are building bigger barns, boarding facilities,
or just need more space. You will also receive upgraded
16' x 9' sliding doors, rather than 12' x 9' doors,
to allow full access to your wider alley. This options
pertains to AmeriStall Horse Barns only.
|
|
Raised Eave Height |
 |
You can make your AmeriStall
Horse Barn or AmeriSteel Metal Building taller by increasing
the eave height. This might be helpful if you need larger
doors to accommodate the storage of tall equipment.
Keep in mind that overhead or roll up doors need at
least 2' clearance (2' lower than the eave height) and
sliding doors need at least 1' clearance (1' lower than
the eave height).
|
|
Raised Roof Pitch |

|
We can raise the roof
pitch on your AmeriStall Horse Barn or AmeriSteel Metal
Building, up to 6:12. |
|
Glass, Residential Style Windows |
 |
Our windows are available
in 3o3o, 3o4o, non-tempered 4o4o, and tempered 4o4o
windows for the split sliding doors, utility rooms,
and other areas of the barn. These windows are not mill-finished,
single pane windows. Rather, they are residential quality,
double paned glass, and available in several finishes.
We offer the following formats: divided light, picture
window, operable with screen, and non-operable.
|
|
Swing-Out Style Stall Windows |

|
These horse-safe windows
measure 3' x 3' and have stylish cross-buck trim. You
can add stationary grills that allow ventilation, but
do not allow your horse access to the outside. This
option is available on both AmeriStall Horse Barns and
AmeriSteel Metal Buildings. |
|
Side porches |

|
Available in 8', 10',
or 12' widths provide a sheltered space for paddocks,
storage, or horses. This option is available on both
AmeriStall Horse Barns and AmeriSteel Metal Buildings. |
|
Feeder Options |

|
Feeders are installed
in place of the 28" grilled section of the stall front
in AmeriStall Horse Barns. This section will be located
on the opposite side of which ever way your stall door
slides. Feed doors with and without a corner mounted
hayrack provide access to the stall during feedings.
Our swing-out feeders swivel from the inside of the
stall into the alleyway, and lock into place, so you
can easily feed from the alley. These feeders include
a standard hayrack and a feed tub. These options are
available on AmeriStall Horse Barns only. |
|
Tack rooms, Feed Rooms, Wash Rooms |
 |
These, or other areas,
can take the place of a stall within your barn. We will
modify the front of the space to include either a walk
door for a tack room, a walk or sliding door for a feed
room, or remove the front altogether for a wash room
or storage space. You can also add a metal, non-load
bearing ceiling to any of these rooms. If you wish the
ceiling to be load bearing, you can certainly build
it in yourself once your barn is completed. These options
are available on AmeriStall Horse Barns only.
|
|
Wainscoting |

|
This is a different colored
R-panel around the bottom of your barn that enhances
its appearance. Wainscoting is available on both AmeriStall
Horse Barns and AmeriSteel Metal Buildings. |
|
UV-Resistant Skylights |

|
These are available on
Raised Center Aisle Barns in the raised center aisle
section in lieu of the standard metal sheeting. These
panels are 2' tall, and are set vertically. In Straight
Gable, and other barns and metal buildings, skylights
are available in 3' x 11' sections. |
|
Lumber Packages
|
 |
Consisting of 2"x8" tongue
and groove, V-joint, center matched, untreated #1 Southern
Yellow Pine, these packages are available for each barn
size we offer. The wood lines the stalls, utilities,
and other areas of the barn to protect the horse from
kicking metal and to enclose the space. If customers
prefer they may purchase lumber independently since
our panel channels will accommodate any 2" dimensional
wood. |
